The mission of La Roche-Posay: changing behaviour

The brand is stepping up its initiatives in skin cancer prevention, with My UV Patch, the first connected patch that helps people to adopt the right skin protection habits, and the roll-out of its viral "Become a Skin Checker" campaign.

#SaveOurSkin

La Roche-Posay has a long history of active involvement in skin cancer prevention. To highlight the issue for the general public and help people develop the right sun exposure habits, the brand is running the awareness-raising campaign #SaveOurSkin, which this year has three key messages: "Become a Skin Checker", protect yourself with suitable sun protection products – like the Anthelios range – and enjoy the sun without neglecting your safety with My UV Patch.

My UV Patch: Connected means better protected

My UV Patch is the first UV sensor designed to be worn on the skin. Used in conjunction with a smartphone app, it measures exposure to UV rays in real time, and delivers a personalised sun protection recommendation. Over a nine-month period, My UV Patch was handed out free of charge in 14 countries, generating very high brand visibility. The aim of La Roche-Posay is to promote safer sun protection habits.

Since the launch, more than 70 million people all over the world have become Skin Checkers.
