2000 First half sales Eur 6.15 Billion ; + 14.5 %
L'OREAL'S consolidated sales for the first half 2000 totalled EUR 6.15 billion (FRF 40.33 billion).
Sales compared with the first half 1999 is 14.5 %.
Currency effects had a positive impact of 6.2 %.
On a comparable basis, i.e. with identical structure and exchange rates, consolidated sales of the group rose by 8.1 % and, excluding currency effects, by 8.2 %.
