L'Oréal's consolidated sales for the quarter ending 31 March 1998 increased to FF 18.76 billion.
Growth compared with the same quarter in 1997 was 13.6% on published figures and 11.6%, excluding the impact of exchange rates.
Organic growth benefited 1.1% from the consolidation of new cosmetics, dermatological and pharmaceuticals subsidiaries, mainly in Europe.
