L'Oréal has created Kéraskin
The Professional Products Division of L’Oréal, the world leader in its sector, has created KÉRASKIN ESTHETICS, the first professional skin treatment brand, targeted at hairdressing salons.
In the words of Jean-Jacques Lebel, Vice-President, General Manager L’Oréal Professional Products Division: "The creation of Kéraskin marks a historic step for our Division. It signs our entry into a new business, skincare, with all the technological advances made by L'Oréal's laboratories over recent years, enabled by new professional techniques and partnerships with the top skincare specialists and beauticians."
"There are around 10,000 luxury salons worldwide", says Nicolas Rosselli, Deputy Managing Director of Professional Products Division in charge of brands development. "And this number keeps on increasing. Some 20% are total beauty salons, already equipped with at least one beauty room."
KÉRASKIN ESTHETICS will offer products developed by our research teams, containing major compounds such as Pro-xylane, professional tools, and facial skincare products to be recommended and sold in salons. The brand's expertise will then be extended to bodycare and handcare.
The Division will create exceptional training programmes available to professional beauticians, as it already does with its hairdresser partners, enabling the creation of a top level network of skincare experts in salons.
KÉRASKIN ESTHETICS will be launched at the end of 2007 in Europe, and will then be extended to the most luxurious salons in North America and the rest of the world.
