L'Oreal has received the EURONEXT and AGEFI Award for "Best 1999 Annual Report." The Award, one of a series of Investor Relations Awards, was presented on 4 December 2000 at an event at the Paris Bourse.

L'Oreal was selected for the Award following a poll of 1000 finance professionals from eight European countries, carried out by Taylor Nelson Sofres. The nominations for the Award were selected following an open question ballot. A second ballot determined the prize winners.

The Awards, designed to promote the Paris Bourse and its quoted companies internationally, were created in response to the growing desire of both French and international investors for better financial information.
