Highlights

Ethics Day: a unique opportunity to discuss “the way we act”

Every year since 2009, all of L’Oréal’s 87,000-plus employees are invited to participate in Ethics Day, an open and honest discussion between employees worldwide and the Group’s CEO, Executive Committee Members and Country General Managers on ethical issues encountered at work. In 2022, Ethics Day urged participants to think about “the way we act” and how the Group’s ethical principles apply to day-to-day situations.

During the event, the Group’s global network of Ethics Correspondents organised more than 65 live video chat sessions and gave employees an opportunity to ask questions anonymously about topics important to them.

Ethisphere: L’Oréal and its employees receive recognition for ethical practices

International organisation Ethisphere named L’Oréal one of the world’s most ethical companies for the 13th time in 2022. The award recognises the Group’s long-term commitment and its role as a leader in applying ethical principles to its sales practices, business and corporate culture. This acknowledgement is a source of pride for all employees because ethics is a shared concern.

The Ethisphere ranking assesses companies on different complementary criteria: ethics and compliance, culture, corporate social responsibility, governance and reputation. This recognition enables L’Oréal to measure itself against other companies as part of a collective effort to continuously improve standards and implement best practices.
