Consumer demand for natural products is driven in equal measure by a quest for well-being and by environmental convictions. The Professional Products Division is keeping ahead of these two trends by developing natural and environmentally-friendly products.

Combining beauty and naturalness has become an important purchasing criterion for a growing number of consumers: 57% are looking for more natural products as they make their daily purchasing decisions, and 83% take the ethical stance of products into consideration.x
To meet consumer expectations in terms of naturalness, L’Oréal is committed to an approach that combines corporate social responsibility with high quality products.

Aura Botanica: luxurious natural shine

Aura Botanica by Kérastase is an elegant luxury range containing 98% natural ingredients. To create the range, Kérastase invested in responsible sourcing: the organic argan oil from Morocco and organic coconut oil from the Samoan Islands are also fair trade. The brand also went to great lengths to incorporate natural products: the formula is made of 98% natural ingredients, is sulphate-, silicone- and paraben-free, and guarantees healthy, glossy hair.

Biolage R.A.W.: organic, biodegradable and beautiful

Launched worldwide in 2017, Biolage R.A.W. (Real.Authentic.Wholesome.) is the result of Matrix’s commitment to the environment. 99% of the ingredients used to create these haircare products are biodegradable, and, depending on the formula, 70 to 100% are also natural. Some of the raw materials are organic and fair trade.

Decléor: skin, body and mind

Decléor, which has been innovating in the field of aromatherapy segment for 40 years, ascribes to a holistic and natural approach to beauty that incorporates healthy eating, energy restoration and well-being into a single slogan: “Skin, Body and Mind”. It also opened a new concept store-institute, which offers clients a unique and sensory retreat into well-being.
