
A look back at the Annual General Meeting
On 29th April, more than 1,500 shareholders gathered for L’Oréal’s Annual General Meeting, presided by L’Oréal Chairman Jean-Paul Agon. This yearly event allows us to share the Group's strategy, financial strength and resilient business model, as well as its sustainability commitments and ambitions for the future. It’s also one of the highlights of a rich and varied programme of shareholder communications throughout the year which aim to enhance their understanding of the Group.
Following the presentation of the 2024 financial results by Christophe Babule, CFO, Nicolas Hieronimus, CEO, highlighted the key aspects of the Group's performance in 2024, and strategy to strengthen its position as the world's No. 1 beauty. Fabrice Megarbane, Chief Global Growth Officer, presented the new markets – key growth drivers for L'Oréal. Illustrating Group’s dual excellence, Nicolas Hieronimus shared the adjusted 2030 sustainability roadmap featuring the 15 objectives of the L'Oréal for the Future programme. Finally, Jean-Paul Agon reported on the evolution of Group’s Governance and the work carried out in 2024 by the Board of Directors, which defines L'Oréal's strategic direction.
A general discussion session gave shareholders an opportunity to pose questions, followed by a vote on resolutions, all of which were adopted.
This 2025 meeting also featured a tribute to Françoise Bettencourt Meyers, who has supported L'Oréal's development during her 28 years on the Board of Directors.
